Everyone has a Taco Soup recipe. Here's mine! (Modified a bit from the one my mother-in-law gave me!)
In a large pot, brown 1 pound of ground beef. Drain fat and add:
4 cups water
1 16 oz. can tomatoes in water
1 can corn (drained)
1 can tomato soup
1 can kidney beans (rinsed and drained)
1 envelope taco seasoning
1 clove garlic
salt and pepper to taste
Let it boil, then simmer for 15 minutes. Serve with cheese, chips and sour cream.
